The guiding purpose of The Trade Revolution is to promote an alternative route to a college education. The series provides an opportunity for educators and students to shine beyond the classroom, to make connections with various trade industries, to share best practices throughout the state, and to encourage partnerships between schools, students and outside organizations.

• To promote women in the trade industry,

• To highlight all the different trades that are available to young people,

• To highlight the exceptional educators making a difference in the lives of students,

• To serve as an educational tool for guidance counselors/administrators,

• To provide a glimpse into the vocational classroom for parents and the community.
